I need a clone

I've been busy. Had to take TOEFL and SAT and I'm still waiting for my SAT results. Plus I've been seek, so now, due to my absence in school+not being able to concentrate on school work due to preparing for the SAT, I'm deep in.... sh*t. XD

So yeah, that's why I've been so absent. Aaaah if I could split myself in two.....

Ps: and god, I so hate thinking of a blog title, they always turn out so so stupid :)

Pss: I wanna redo the look of the blog... So hopefully a new look is just around the corner. Now I need to go and find some useful sites with tips....

My first photography exhibition

 Here are some photos from the opening night of a group photography exhibition that I was a part of in O3ONE gallery. The theme was "Savski Venac in memories" (Savski Venac is a municipality of Belgrade,  the one I live in). So here you go-you can see 4 of mine photos that were displayed. I was very nervous as some very well known photographers attended the opening and there was a huge crowd, and to top it all off my friends and I (well not all of them, but Milica, Vlada, Milan and I) were 30 minutes late as we couldn't find a parking space (trust me finding parking space in the center of Belgrade is nothing short of a night mare). But all in all the opening went great, though I didn't give an interview for the national television because of my tardiness, but I was live on studio B on a talk show, I was quoted about photography etc in Blic newspaper, and some of my photos came out in Politika (another newspaper). So as you can see- I had quite an eventful january.

New year, same goal

So yeah haven't really had the time to update this space-as usual :), nor to post anything new on DA. And that's because I was too overwhelmed with school, applications for universities, photography course and of course my social life couldn't have been sacrificed, so I pretty much gave up on sleep..... not that I'm complaining. I 'm quite fond of being a busy bee and what not, but it just was a bit too much.


Anyways, this year is definitely kicking off well- My first ever group photography exhibition is on Monday (tomorrow). I'm so overly extremely obnoxiously excited.

And in contrast to the holiday spirit of being selfless here goes a bit of egocentrism sorry for that. Tried out doing something different with my hair (which is practically impossible for me- i hate tying it up, and it is so straight that you pretty much can't style it at all).Milica was very happy with my new hair parting, but I found it so annoying that I switched right back to the usual as soon as I got home. And a side note-I suck at pouting. Looking like a fish.... So hot.

Into the light (experimentation)

Light painting experimentation. I think I found my newest obsession. Keep in mind that this is my first time trying it so it's not that good :) First two photos are self-portraits of me, third should be "WTF", fourth is my sister and the fifth one is my dad.

We love control freaks

I've been extremely busy lately. Haven't had the time to update at all. In the beginning of october I spent 8 days in Italy with my school, visiting Rome, Verona, Siena, Venice etc (I hope I'll have some time soon to post photos). I'm also the student body president this year so that takes up quite a lot of time. And I've taken up a sort of a photography course:) So yeah being a busy bee :)

 And this is Sid, a dog my mom found on the street. I would so love to keep him but unfortunately I already have a cat... So anybody living in Belgrade in need of an extremely cute puppy? :D
